Teams

Use Incredible with the people you work with. Share a saved task, a note or a word once, and Incredible uses it for everyone in your team.

A team is your company, or the group you work with, inside Incredible. When one person teaches Incredible a job, writes down how you do things, or adds a name Incredible keeps mishearing, they can share it. From then on Incredible uses it for everyone in the team.

You can be in one team at a time. Everything you make stays yours until you share it.

Join a team

Someone invites you. You get an email from Incredible. Click Open Incredible in it, or open the app yourself: the invite waits under Notifications in your profile menu. Click Join, or Decline if it isn't for you.

Your company already uses Incredible. Sign in with your work email and Incredible tells you, under Notifications, how many people from your company use it. Click Ask to join. An owner or admin lets you in, and Incredible tells you when they have. Some teams let colleagues join directly, and then the button says Join.

You start one. Open Settings, click Team, then Create team. Give it a name and invite people by email. If you pay for Incredible yourself, your plan can become the team's plan; Team plans and seats explains how.

When you join, the Team page shows who else is in the team and what they already share.

Share with your team

Three kinds of things can be shared:

  • Saved tasks. A job one person taught Incredible, such as sending this week's price list to customers, becomes a job anyone in the team can ask for.
  • Knowledge. Notes and files Incredible reads before it works, such as how you write to customers.
  • Vocabulary. Names and terms Incredible should hear right, such as your products and your customers.

To share a saved task, open it and click Share with your team in the editor. To share knowledge, open the menu on the entry's card and click Share. Choose Everyone in your team, and choose whether others can change it or only you. It moves to your team's tab on that page. To stop sharing it, open it again and choose Only you.

To share a word, click the people icon on it (Share with your team). It moves to your team's list right away, and Undo puts it back.

Owners and admins can change or remove anything that's shared.

Notifications

Open your profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar and click Notifications. A number on your picture shows how many are new. You see:

  • invites to a team and teams from your company, with Join or Ask to join
  • requests to join your team, with Approve and Decline, if you're an owner or admin
  • someone joining your team
  • a teammate sharing a saved task, a note or words
  • your scheduled tasks and Autopilot running on this computer
  • usage and billing notes, such as being close to your plan's limit

Click a notification to open the page it's about. Mark all as read clears the dots.

Owners, admins and members

Every team has one owner: the person who made it. The owner manages the team's plan and seats, decides who's an admin, and can delete the team.

Admins run the team day to day. They invite people, approve requests to join, rename the team, and change or remove what's shared. They also see the team's usage.

Members use what the team shares and share their own things.

To remove someone, or for the owner to make someone an admin, open Settings, Team, Members and open the menu on their row.

Who can join

Owners and admins choose this under Settings, Team, Settings. If your team uses a company email address, you can let colleagues with that address ask to join, join directly, or join only when invited. If you sign in with a personal email, such as Gmail, people join by invite only.

See what Incredible does for your team

Owners and admins can open Settings, Team, Usage. It shows how many hours Incredible worked for the team, how many tasks it finished, who used it and in which apps. It never shows what a task was about or which pages it visited.

Everyone sees their own usage under Settings, Usage.

Leave a team

Open Settings, Team, open the menu on your own row and click Leave team. You keep everything you made. You lose what the team shares, and the plan the team gave you.
