LinkedIn message sender
Send personalized LinkedIn messages to the 1st-degree connections you choose
Still sending LinkedIn messages one by one?
What this workflow does
LinkedIn message sender sends personalized messages to the 1st-degree connections you choose, one at a time during your working hours. It fills in each recipient’s details and gives you a report of messages sent, replies and sequence removals.
The problem
Sales teams, recruiters and founders can spend hours copying details into LinkedIn messages and tracking follow-ups by hand. Repetitive work also makes it easier to miss exclusions, leave broken personalization or contact someone after they reply.
The solution
The workflow handles outreach and engagement by reading recipient details from LinkedIn and Google Sheets, personalizing each message and applying exclusions. It sends messages at a human pace and checks for replies before follow-ups, resulting in personalized LinkedIn outreach to the selected connections.

This is what you get
How it works, step by step
- 1
Build the audience. Filters your existing connections by job title, company, industry, location or connection date, or takes a list of profile links you supply.
- 2
Fill in the message. Renders each message variant against the real recipient so the merge fields read correctly, and shows you the ones that do not.
- 3
Apply the exclusion list. Drops current customers, open conversations, anyone who asked you to stop, and anyone already messaged recently.
- 4
Send at a human pace. Sends inside your active hours on working days only, with a randomized gap between messages and a warm-up ramp on a newer account.
- 5
Stop on a reply. Checks for replies before each follow-up and takes anyone who answered out of the sequence, leaving the conversation in your inbox.

How can I automatically send personalized messages to LinkedIn connections?
You can use the LinkedIn message sender to contact selected 1st-degree connections one at a time. It personalizes each message, applies exclusions and sends only after confirmation during your configured hours. It does not send connection requests, InMail or automated replies.
What information can personalize a LinkedIn message from Google Sheets?
The workflow works with Google Sheets and supports merge fields for first name, company, job title, location, connection date and custom columns from supplied data. It checks every rendered message and flags missing or awkward details for review. A message is not sent if an unfilled merge field remains visible.
How does the LinkedIn message sender avoid messaging the wrong people?
The workflow confirms that every recipient is a 1st-degree connection before sending. It also removes people on your exclusion list, people with open conversations, previous opt-outs and anyone contacted by the workflow within the last 90 days. The run reports how many people each exclusion removed.
Is automated LinkedIn messaging safe for my account?
LinkedIn’s User Agreement prohibits automated access, and LinkedIn may restrict or permanently ban accounts it detects using automation. Sending one at a time with active hours, varied gaps, gradual volume and daily caps can lower risk, but it cannot remove it. The workflow stops if LinkedIn shows a warning, restriction or signs of rate limiting.
Does a LinkedIn connection count as consent for commercial messages?
No. Being connected on LinkedIn is not consent to receive commercial messages under GDPR, PECR or equivalent rules. You need an applicable lawful basis and must honour opt-outs when those rules apply.
What do I need to run the LinkedIn message sender?
You need the Incredible desktop app for Mac or Windows and your own access to LinkedIn and Google Sheets. Your browser must already be signed in to the LinkedIn account that will send. No coding or API connection is required.
Is my LinkedIn or Google Sheets data used to train Incredible?
No. Customer data is not used to train Incredible.
