What this workflow does
This workflow extracts company data from a Google Maps search or a single listing. It returns a checked CSV with one row per company, including its name, address, phone number, website, category, opening hours, rating and review count.
The problem
Sales teams and founders often copy Google Maps listings into spreadsheets by hand when building company lists. Opening each listing, collecting its details and removing duplicates takes time and can lead to inconsistent rows.
The solution
The workflow finds leads in a category and area, then extracts the available data from each Google Maps listing. It removes duplicate companies, saves the results as a CSV and checks the file in Google Sheets.

How it works, step by step

Open the company or the search. Opens Google Maps and loads either the single company listing you gave it, or the search for a category and an area.

Load every company in the search. When a search was given, scrolls the results until Google stops adding companies, splitting a wide area into smaller searches so the list is not cut off.

Read each company's details. Opens every company listing and reads the name, address, phone number, website, category, rating, review count and opening hours.

Save the CSV. Writes one row per company into a CSV in Downloads, removing duplicates and replacing the previous file for the same search.

Check the file in Google Sheets. Opens the finished CSV to confirm it parses, carries the agreed columns and holds one row per company collected.

How do I export company data from Google Maps to a CSV?
Use this workflow with either a Google Maps search term and location or a single company listing URL. It opens the listings, collects the published company details and saves a UTF-8 CSV in your Downloads folder. It then opens the CSV in Google Sheets to check the columns and rows.
What company information can I extract from Google Maps?
The CSV can include company name, address, city, region, postcode, coordinates, phone number, website, categories, rating, review count, opening hours, price level, Maps URL, Place ID, photo count and claimed status. Information that Google Maps does not publish is left empty rather than guessed.
Does the exported Google Maps CSV work with Google Sheets?
Yes. The workflow opens the saved CSV in Google Sheets and checks that it is not empty, parses into columns and has one row per company collected. You can also import the finished CSV into a CRM.
Do I need code or a Google Places API key to extract the data?
No. Incredible is a Mac and Windows desktop app that works in the browser you already use. This workflow reads the Google Maps listings directly and does not require code or a Google Places API connection.
Is company data from Google Maps always up to date?
No. Google Maps listings can contain outdated information, particularly opening hours or phone numbers. The workflow records what Google Maps publishes, so you should verify important details before using the data for a campaign.
Is my Google Maps company data used to train Incredible?
Customer data is not used to train Incredible. The Google Maps company data handled by this workflow is not used for training.
Can I use phone numbers extracted from Google Maps for outreach?
Collecting a phone number does not by itself give you permission to call it. Google’s terms of service govern automated collection, and GDPR may apply when company contact details identify a person, such as a sole trader. You are responsible for having the required lawful basis and following the rules that apply to your outreach.
