Apple says it will be available as a beta later this year for supported devices set to English. It looks like a real leap, and it has not shipped yet.

Say something to Incredible and the request can span apps from different vendors in one pass. Hold the activation key or use hands-free mode, describe the outcome, and it acts across the browser, local files, and connected work apps: reading the context on screen, updating the CRM, sending the message. You can also set reminders, ask to be told when something happens in a connected app, and teach repeatable workflows.

What does Apple Intelligence do well today?

The privacy story is also a genuine strength. Apple runs most requests on device, and larger ones go to Private Cloud Compute, which Apple says keeps personal data from being stored or made accessible to anyone, including Apple.

Apple's system-level integration makes Siri convenient for quick device tasks.
