Deep Research can produce long, sourced reports, NotebookLM-style notebooks organize source material, and the paid tiers bundle extras such as storage and video generation.

The free tier matters too. Anyone with a Google account gets a capable assistant with daily limits, which makes Gemini the easiest recommendation on this page for someone who mainly wants answers, drafting help, and research at no cost.
