# Incredible: full reference > Incredible is an AI that does tasks on your computer. It clicks and types > in your browser, your files and your apps, exactly like you do. You hold a > key and say what you need, or type it, and Incredible does the work on > your Mac or Windows PC. ## What Incredible is Incredible is a desktop app for Mac and Windows. You give it a task in plain words, by voice or by typing, and it does the task on your own computer, in the same places you would: it uses websites in your browser the way you do, clicking through pages and filling in forms on the sites you are already signed in to; it reads and updates the spreadsheets and documents on your computer; and it works inside the apps you connect, such as Gmail, Slack, Google Calendar and Notion.
